This Mercedes-Benz R107 SL got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL has been fitted with an AMG body kit, and it is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Champagne Metallic over Palomino leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a beige soft top, a removable hardtop, 16″ wheels, fog lights, an Alpine CD stereo, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this R107 shows 135k miles and is now offered in Oregon with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

The car is finished in Champagne Metallic (473) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a beige convertible soft top that is said to have been replaced. An AMG body kit consisting of front and rear bumper spoilers, a decklid spoiler, and revised side skirts has been added, and additional features include quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The bright 16″ wheels are mounted with Caldera Confidence C3 tires. The car was factory-equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The wheel finish is flaking.

The two bucket seats are upholstered in Palomino leather, and interior features include an Alpine stereo, an alarm system, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The driver’s seat bolster is damaged.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 135k miles.

The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The Carfax report indicates that the fuel filter, fuel pump relay, and spark plugs were replaced in September 2017.
