This Toyota 4Runner (N60) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1988 Toyota 4Runner SR5 is finished in black with silver graphics over a red cloth interior and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ Pacer alloy wheels, black wheel arch flares, a lifted suspension, a tubular rear bumper, a snorkel, a soft top with roll-down sides, and a touchscreen head unit connected to a rear-view camera. The truck was acquired by the seller in 2019, and subsequent service is said to have included the installation of an aftermarket aluminum radiator as well as replacement of the timing belt, water pump, power steering pump, manually-locking front hubs, and rear shocks and leaf springs. This 4Runner shows 181k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a removable hardtop, a pull-out rear drawer system, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in black with silver hood and bodyside graphics as well as black wheel arch flares. The seller notes evidence of paintwork under previous ownership, and additional exterior equipment includes a Softopper soft top with roll-down sides, a snorkel, rear mud flaps, and a tubular rear bumper featuring a two-inch receiver hitch and a swing-out carrier with a FuelpaX fuel container. The windshield washer pump has been removed, and stone chips are noted in the paint. The seller recommends replacing missing windshield trim pieces and worn window gaskets.
Black-finished 15″ Pacer alloy wheels are mounted with 33×12.5″ General Grabber AT2 tires. The truck is equipped with Aisin manually locking front hubs that were replaced under current ownership. Modifications are said to have included installation of three-inch suspension and body lifts as well as ARB rear leaf springs and Old Man Emu shocks.
The cab features bolstered front seats and a split folding rear bench trimmed in red cloth with patterned inserts as well as matching door panels and carpets. A Pioneer touchscreen head unit is mounted below the dash and connected to a rear-view camera. The center console armrest is missing, and various cracks are visible in the interior plastics. A removable pull-out rear drawer system is included in the sale and can be viewed in the gallery.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. A separate gauge pod mounted on the dash includes an altimeter and inclinometers. The six-digit odometer shows 181k miles, approximately 9k of which were added by the seller.
The 3.0-liter 3VZ-E V6 features electronic fuel injection and produced 145 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque when new. Service completed under current ownership included installation of an aftermarket aluminum radiator as well as replacement of the timing belt, coolant temperature sensor, water pump, power steering pump, battery, and muffler.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes rust within the driver-side floorboard and on underbody components.

A removable hardtop with sliding side windows will accompany the truck.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Virginia.
