This Toyota Pickup (N50/N60/N70 1984-1988) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1988 Toyota pickup is an Xtracab 4×4 example finished in red over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a lift kit, a sliding rear window, 15″ SR5 wheels with all-terrain tires, chrome mirror caps, and a Toyota cassette stereo. The truck spent time in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas prior to the seller’s June 2020 acquisition. Subsequent service reportedly consisted of replacing the exhaust system, the MAF sensor, and a fuel line along with installing headers and resealing the engine top end. This Toyota pickup is now offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington State title in the sellers name.
The truck is said to have been refinished in its current red under prior ownership and wears replacement body side decals. Additional exterior details include a sliding rear window and chrome-finished mirror caps. The seller notes paint blemishes, and surface imperfections are visible on the front bumper.
SR5 15″ wheels are mounted with 31×10.5″ Goodyear Wrangler tires, and Aisin locking front hubs are fitted along with a lift kit.
The bench front seat is upholstered in gray cloth joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes a cassette stereo and 4×4-emblazoned carpeted mats. The seller notes the dash is cracked and the emergency-brake handle intermittently sticks when released. Areas of loose fitting vinyl are present on the door panels.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six digit odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 300 of which were added by the seller.
Power comes from a fuel-injected 3.0-liter V6. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included the installation of exhaust headers, a replacement stainless-steel exhaust system, a new mass air flow sensor, a new fuel line, and resealing of the engine top end.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas, and Washington State from an initial update in 1992.
