This Chevrolet C/K GMT400 (1988-2002) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1989 Chevrolet C1500 pickup was built in the style of a pre-runner in 2012 in a project that included fitting a 5.7-liter LS1 V8, a six-speed transmission, a locking rear differential, four-wheel disc brakes, King shocks, and front and rear roll bars. Additional equipment includes bucket seats, four-point harnesses, digital gauges, a custom cab heater, and a custom bed that contains a fuel tank, a full-size spare, and a tool box. This C1500 pre-runner was acquired by the seller in 2020, reportedly from the estate of its builder, and it is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The truck was refinished in light brown in 2015 and features a custom bed with a 25-gallon fuel tank, an inset spare tire, and a custom tool box. Front and rear roll bars are equipped. The seller notes that one of the front tow brackets is broken and that there are scratches in the paint.

Black-finished 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 33×12.50″ BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A tires. The truck features King shocks and travel limiters as well as disc brakes at all four corners.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Vapor instrument display that contains readouts for the speedometer and tachometer. A RacePak monitor displays additional gauge readings including those for temperatures and pressures. The seller estimates having added approximately 500 miles, though the truck does not have an odometer. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was installed in 2015 and is said to have been set further back against the firewall than the stock engine placement.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed competition gearbox and a locking rear differential. The transmission linkage was adjusted in March 2023.

The Carfax report shows registration history in Oregon since 2002.
