This GMC Sierra (GMT400 1988-2002) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1989 GMC Sierra K1500 is a regular-cab Sportside example that is finished in light blue over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes chrome-finished 17″ Moto Metal wheels, a 4″ Bilstein suspension lift kit, a sliding rear window, a drop-in bedliner, tubular exhaust headers, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco cassette stereo. The truck was acquired by the seller in January 2023, and work under current ownership is said to have included replacing the tires and battery. This Sierra 1500 shows 114k miles and is offered at no reserve with a set of spare keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was factory-finished in blue and silver (ZY2) and was refinished in its current shade of light blue under previous ownership. Exterior details include a Sportside bed, chrome bumpers, a Duraliner drop-in bedliner, a receiver hitch, front tow hooks, bedside tie-down cleats, and a sliding rear window. Chrome-finished 17″ Moto Metal MO972 wheels wear 315/70 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, a front stabilizer bar, and a 4″ Bilstein 5100-series suspension lift kit. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The folding bench seat is upholstered in gray cloth and complemented by a color-matched dashboard, carpeting, and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an Insta-Trac transfer case shift lever, and a factory Delco cassette stereo. The seller notes modifications to the stereo wiring and intermittent issues with the stereo sound are present along with a malfunctioning shift indicator. Wear on the carpets and stereo buttons can be seen in the gallery. The seller states the air conditioning system blows cold after several minutes of operation.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits on a tilt-adjustable column and frames an 85-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 114k miles.
The 5.7-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock air cleaner lid, tubular exhaust headers, and aftermarket valve covers, and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the battery and oil were changed in April 2023.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a rear axle with 3.42:1 gearing.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Oregon, and Florida from an initial entry in June 1999.
