This Cadillac Allanté got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1990 Cadillac Allanté is finished in white over tan leather upholstery and powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a replacement tan soft top, an optional removable hardtop, 16″ aluminum alloy wheels, an active suspension-damping system, automatic climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable Recaro seats, and a Delco Symphony Sound CD/cassette stereo. The car has spent time in Maryland, Georgia, and Florida, where it was acquired by the current owner in 2019. This Allanté is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with a hardtop storage bag and stand, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The aluminum body was designed and manufactured in Italy by Pininfarina and features an aluminum hood and trunk lid. This example is finished in white with a red accent stripe and features power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, a replacement tan soft top, and headlight washers. The Carfax report indicates damage to the left-front in 2003, and the seller notes that paintwork has been performed on the left-rear quarter panel. The power antenna is not functional, and exterior blemishes are shown up close in the image gallery below. An optional hardtop is included in the sale along with a stand.
Forged aluminum 16″ wheels wear Cadillac-logo center caps and are wrapped in a mixed set of Ironman, Riken, and Goodyear tires measuring 225/55. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension, a speed-dependent variable-damping suspension, and a traction control system. The seller notes a brake fluid leak, and scratches are visible on the wheels.
The cabin features power-adjustable Recaro seats, which the seller states were reupholstered in tan leather from their original black in May 2022. The carpets were replaced at this time, and amenities include a driver information center, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Delco Symphony Sound stereo with CD and cassette players. The seller notes that the driver’s window works intermittently, and desilvering is visible on the rearview mirror.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital instrumentation cluster including a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,200-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 53k miles, approximately 6k of which were added by the current owner. The Carfax report shows that a Not Actual Mileage title was issued in 1995, and total mileage is unknown.
The transversely-mounted 4.5-liter V8 features sequential port fuel injection and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. Corrosion is visible on underside components, and the muffler has been repaired with a wire for support on the left side.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entry and the Not Actual Mileage title issued in 1995. Registration history is listed in Maryland, Georgia, and Florida from the first entry in 1994. There are gaps in reporting history between 1995 and 2002 and between 2003 and 2009.
