1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5-Speed

This 1990 Eagle Talon TSi is finished in Black Cherry Metallic with contrasting lower bodywork over gray cloth and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip rear differential, a rear spoiler, a sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, integrated front driving lamps, 16″ alloy wheels, and power accessories. The car was reportedly acquired by the seller in the early 1990s and now shows 57k miles. This Talon is offered by the seller with partial service records, spare parts and accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

The Talon was built on the Chrysler D platform by Diamond Star Motors, and the TSi featured a revised front bumper and lower side cladding as well as a black rear spoiler. This example is finished in Black Cherry Metallic (R16) with contrasting lower bodywork, and additional equipment includes a sunroof, a rear wiper, pop-up headlights, integrated front driving lamps, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller reports that the hood was repaired and repainted after being damaged while the car was parked.

Factory 16″ alloy wheels wear 205/55 Goodyear Eagle GT4+ tires. The seller states that the tires are at least 15 years old and recommends replacement. Factory equipment includes a double-wishbone independent rear suspension, upgraded springs, struts, and stabilizer bars, as well as four-wheel disc brakes.

The interior features seats trimmed in gray cloth with patterned inserts along with gray carpets and a two-tone dashboard. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. The car features an Eclipse CD2000 head unit, and the removed factory AM/FM cassette stereo with equalizer is included in the sale and pictured in the gallery below.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 9k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost gauge, a 145-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 57k miles, approximately 36k of which have been added by the seller.

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0L 4G63 inline-four was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed in 2014 at approximately 55k miles included an engine computer refurbishment as well as replacement of the timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, and accessory belts. The seller reports that an oil change was recently performed.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox, a viscous coupling center differential, and a limited-slip rear differential. Corrosion is visible on underbody components, and additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.

A warranty information booklet along with service records are pictured above and included in the sale. A sunroof visor and a vinyl front bumper protector are also included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Minnesota from its first entry in 1992.
