This Jeep XJ Cherokee got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1990 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer is finished in Dover Gray Metallic over burgundy cloth and vinyl upholstery, and it is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac dual-range transfer case. Features include 15″ nine-hole steel wheels, power steering, a receiver hitch, LED headlights, front bucket seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The truck was purchased by the seller in February 2024 and it now shows 111k miles. The serpentine belt, camshaft position sensor, fuel pump, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, and valve cover gasket are said to have been replaced since November 2020. This XJ Cherokee is offered with service records and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Dover Gray Metallic (HS3) and features mud flaps, LED headlights, a receiver hitch, and roof rails with cross bars. An October 2019 entry on the Carfax report notes “minor damage” and “damage to front.” Faded paint is visible on the hood and roof, and the rear wiper does not work.
The 15″ nine-hole steel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A Ko2 tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The truck came equipped from the factory with power steering. The seller states the front rotors, rear drums, track bar, axle shaft joints were replaced under prior ownership, and the front coils, front and rear shocks, and rear leaf springs were replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in burgundy cloth and vinyl upholstery, and amenities include an AM/FM stereo, a trailer brake controller, air conditioning, and cruise control.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 111k miles, less than 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 177 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. The following components are said to have been replaced since November 2020:
- Serpentine belt
- Camshaft position sensor
- Oxygen sensor
- Fuel pump
- Spark plugs and wires
- Distributor cap and rotor
- Catalytic converter
- Exhaust manifold
- Valve cover gasket
- Intake manifold gasket
An oil leak from the rear main seal is noted.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac dual-range transfer case.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned October 2019 damage entry and lists history in Pennsylvania.
