1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata 5-Speed

This 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata remained with its previous owner from 1997 until the selling dealer’s November 2022 acquisition, and it now shows 63k miles. The car is finished in Mariner Blue with a black convertible soft top over black cloth and is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14″ Daisy alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows. This NA Miata is now offered by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title.

The car is finished in Mariner Blue and features a black soft top as well as pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a convertible top boot, and a single exhaust outlet. The selling dealer reports that the hood has been repainted. Noted imperfections include soft top tears, dings in a rear quarter panel, scrapes on the rear bumper, and a crack under the left taillight.

The 14″ Daisy alloy wheels are mounted with Falken Sincera SN250 A/S tires measuring 185/60 and wearing 2022 date codes. The car is equipped with variable-assist power steering, a fully independent suspension, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with color-coordinated door panels. Interior amenities include an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles.

The 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 116 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque. The air and fuel filters were reportedly replaced under current ownership, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The transmission and differential lubricants were changed in preparation for the sale.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Connecticut from its first entry in July 1996 through its most recent in May 2021.
