This 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata is finished in Silver Stone Metallic over black cloth and is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top, pop-up headlights, 15″ Konig wheels, and a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo. The car was first registered in Indiana and spent time in Illinois before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2021. Work under current ownership is said to have consisted of changing the fluids, servicing the cooling system, and replacing the clutch master cylinder, spark plugs, ignition wires, and battery. This NA Miata shows 16k miles and is now offered with the removed factory 14″ Daisy wheels, manufacturer’s literature, period publications, a scale model car, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Silver Stone Metallic and features a black soft top as well as a matching top boot. Exterior equipment includes pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, and a single exhaust outlet in addition to an aftermarket power-retractable antenna and a retractable front license plate holder. Eight-spoke 15″ Konig wheels are mounted with Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires measuring 195/50, and a spare tire with a factory cover is housed in the trunk. The car is equipped with an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes. Work under current ownership reportedly included the installation of braided stainless-steel brake lines and a brake fluid flush.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with color-coordinated door panels. Interior appointments include Miata-branded floor mats, crank windows, cup holders, and a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added by the seller.

The 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 116 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque. The engine oil and coolant were changed under current ownership according to the seller, who states that the air filter, battery, thermostat, cooling system hoses, spark plugs, ignition wires, and fuel filters were also replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The clutch master cylinder was reportedly replaced under current ownership, and the fluids for the transmission and rear end are said to have been changed.

Manufacturer’s literature, period publications, two keys, and a scale model car are included in the sale along with the removed set of 14″ Daisy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone tires that are said to have approximately 10k miles added.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Indiana, Illinois, and Massachusetts with a gap in entries between April 1990 and March 2007.
