1991 Alfa Romeo Spider 5-Speed

This 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider shows 58k miles following history in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and it was reportedly purchased by the seller in 1998. It is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Onyx Black over beige leather and suede. Equipment includes a black soft top, 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, aftermarket springs, a cassette stereo, and power windows. This Series 4 Spider is now offered in Florida with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The Series 4 Spider received an exterior refresh with color-matched bumpers and a revised tail with integrated wrap-around taillights. The Pininfarina-designed bodywork of this example is finished in Onyx Black (817). Exterior features include a black soft top, twin side mirrors, and a power antenna. Touch-up paint is noted on the hood and bumper covers.

Silver-finished 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with older Michelin Defender tires. Power steering and four-wheel disc brakes were fitted as standard equipment on the Series 4 Spider. The front brake calipers were repaired in December 2018, and Bilstein shocks were fitted in March 2021. According to the seller, the car is equipped with aftermarket springs.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in beige leather and suede as well as a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Interior features include a wood shift knob, a cassette stereo, a rear parcel shelf, a driver-side airbag, and power windows. The air conditioning system needs to be repaired.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter inline-four features Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 120 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque. The exhaust system was replaced some time ago under current ownership, and the fuel filter was replaced in December 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania through a most recent update in June 2007.

The Pennsylvania carries a “Classic Vehicle” brand.
