This Ferrari Testarossa got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1991 Ferrari Testarossa was sold new in Maryland and now shows just under 35,700 miles. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior and features dual side mirrors, a gated shifter, and staggered 5-lug wheels. Power is provided by a 4.9-liter flat-12 mated to by a 5-speed manual gearbox, and the most recent belt service was performed about 4,400 miles ago in 2013. Documentation dates back to a previous engine-out service in 2002, and maintenance was conducted within the past 200 miles according to the selling dealer. This Testarossa is now being offered out of San Antonio, Texas with a factory tool kit, records, an accident-free Carfax, and a clear New York title.

Pininfarina was commissioned to design the Testarossa, and their badges can be seen mounted behind the distinctive side inlet strakes. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa, and the lower cladding surfaces are finished in body color. Period testing indicated the car was capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 180.

No history of accidents or other damage is indicated by the Carfax, though the lower front spoiler shows some wear and has been touched-up by a previous owner. 16″ wheels feature 5-lugs and measure 8″ and 10″ in width front and rear respectively. Mirada Sport GTX tires are mounted all around, and an alignment was conducted in 2012.

The interior is finished in black, and an Alpine cassette head unit is equipped behind the central dash door as shown in the gallery below. The gated shifter features a dogleg 5-speed pattern, and images of the door sill, Ferrari upholstery embossings, and unique door construction are also included in the gallery.

Veglia gauges include a 200 mph speedometer and a 10k rpm tach with a 6,750 rpm redline, as well as water and oil temperature gauges. The odometer shows 35,700 miles, about 200 of which have been added by the seller.

The 4.9-liter 48-valve flat-12 was quoted by Ferrari to produce 390 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 361 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm when new. The last engine-out service was conducted at 31,331 miles in March 2013 and included replacing the belts, O-rings, seals, and gaskets. Another timing belt service is shown in 2002 at 15k miles, where the clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, and check valves were also inspected and refinished as necessary. Engine bay components were also stripped and repainted during the 2002 service.

The provided clean Carfax shows registrations on the East coast and no indication of accidents. A mileage inconsistency is noted on 4/30/1997 on the Carfax, though the mileage readings appear consistent before and after showing a 358 mile gain by the following day.
