29k-Mile 1992 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Convertible

This 1992 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am convertible was sold new at Colandrea Pontiac-Buick of Newburgh, New York, and was purchased by the seller on BaT in April 2022. Finished in Dark Green Metallic over beige leather upholstery, the car is powered by a fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Features include the WS6 Special Performance Package, 16″ wheels, front disc brakes, a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, fog lights, front bucket seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood stereo. This Firebird Trans Am shows 29k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a removed stereo, spare parts, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Kentucky title.

The car is finished in Dark Green Metallic (45), and the WS4 Trans Am Package added revised front and rear fascias, aero side skirts, a rear spoiler, and gold Trans Am graphics. Additional equipment includes a manually operated tan soft top, pop-up headlights, and fog lights. The front license plate bracket was removed and the front bumper cover was reportedly refinished under prior ownership. A stain is noted on the convertible top, and the seller notes the power antenna has been replaced.

Gold-finished 16” cross-spoke wheels feature polished lips along with WS6 center caps and are mounted with 245/50 Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock ventilated front discs and rear drums. The car was equipped from the factory with the WS6 Special Performance Package, and replacement sway bar end links along with KYB shocks were installed under prior ownership.

The cabin features front bucket seats and individual rear seats trimmed in beige leather along with complementary carpeting and door panels. Amenities include a Kenwood stereo, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, and cruise control. A removed stereo is included in the sale.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 75 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The alternator was replaced under prior ownership, and an oil change was completed in 2022.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Kentucky from its first entry in July 1993.

There is currently a lien on the title, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off prior to the title being transferred to the next owner.
