This Honda Civic Si got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1993 Honda Civic Si was sold new in California and is said to have remained with the original owner until the selling dealer’s acquisition in early 2020. It is finished in Aztec Green Pearl over a patterned gray cloth interior, and power is provided by a 1.6-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car also features folding rear seats, a factory cassette player, a power moonroof, and a hatchback spoiler. Service by the selling dealer has included refinishing the roof and replacing the oil pan gasket. Now showing 111k miles, this EH3 Civic Si is offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Aztec Green Pearl (BG29P), and the seller recently repainted the roof to address failing clearcoat. Features include color-matched mirror housings, black side moldings, a glass moonroof, and a rear hatch spoiler. Some yellowing of the headlight housings is noted along with a scrape on the front bumper and fading of the Civic Si decal on the rear.
Factory 14″ steel wheels wear full wheelcovers and a set of mismatched tires. Si models came equipped with four-wheel disc brakes as standard.
The cabin is trimmed in gray cloth with striped inserts on the seats and door panels. Features include pop-up cupholders, manual windows, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, and a 50/50 folding rear seat.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of factory instrumentation that includes a 9k-rpm tachometer and a 120-mph speedometer. The six-digit odometer shows 111k miles, approximately 120 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 1.6-liter inline-four utilizes a single overhead camshaft and VTEC variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 125 horsepower and 109 lb-ft of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. In April 2020 the oil pan gasket was replaced and the oil was changed.
