This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E was purchased new by the seller’s grandfather at Bill Ussery Motors in Coral Gables, Florida, and it later relocated with him to North Carolina and was acquired by the seller’s parents in 2002. The car is finished in Arctic White over gray MB-Tex and powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, a newer Kenwood stereo, and power-adjustable front seats. Maintenance in 2020 included replacement fuel pressure regulator, powertrain mounts, and suspension components as well as servicing of the air-conditioning system. This W201 now shows 65k miles and is offered at no reserve on behalf of its current owners by their son with factory literature, a window sticker, a tool kit, service records dating back to 1993, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title.

The car is finished in Arctic White (147) with light gray lower body cladding and features an electric sunroof and a power-retractable antenna, the latter of which does not function properly. 15″ Gullideckel wheels are mounted with 185/65 Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires showing 2012 date codes, and a spare wheel and tire are located beneath the trunk floor. Power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were standard equipment. The front struts, front strut mounts, and rear shocks were reportedly replaced in March 2020, at which time an alignment was performed and the front wheel bearings were also adjusted.

The interior features power-adjustable front seats trimmed in gray MB-Tex (178) with matching carpeting and floor mats, as well as Zebrano wood trim on the center stack and shifter surround. Amenities include power windows, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Kenwood CD stereo. The seller states that the air-conditioning system was repaired in March 2020.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 33k of which were added during current ownership. The inside of the gauge cluster shows discoloration.

The 2.6-liter M103 inline-six was factory rated at 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. A service in March 2020 is said to include replacement of the fuel pressure regulator, and additional service included replacement of the following components:

  • Valve cover gasket at 44k miles in 2005
  • Belt tensioner and shock at 50k miles in 2007
  • Head gasket, timing guide rails, thermostat, and battery at 58k miles
