Bid to $22,000 on 12/17/20comments-icon55Comments
1994 Ford Centurion C-150 Classic Conversion 4×4

This 1994 Ford began life as an F-150 Super Cab 4×4 pickup produced at Ford’s Claycomo, Missouri facility, and it was outfitted with a Centurion crew-cab conversion during prior ownership. Recently acquired by the selling dealer out of Vermont, the truck is equipped with a 5.8-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and features include leather-clad captain’s chairs, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, a CB radio, and a television/VHS combination. This Centurion is now offered on behalf of a dealer with period paperwork, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Vermont title.

To construct the C-150 Classic, the cab of an F-Series pickup would be combined with the body of a contemporary Bronco, including the latter’s rear quarter panels, removable hardtop, and tailgate. The exterior on this example is finished in Deep Forest Green Metallic with tan lower trim, integrated running boards, and special C-150 badging.

The truck rides on a 140″ wheelbase and features a roof rack and a chrome rear bumper with a ball hitch. Stock polished 15″ wheels are fitted with 31×10.5″ Michelin Defender LTX tires displaying 2017 date codes.

The interior is outfitted with custom captain’s chairs for the front and middle rows, which are accompanied by a third-row bench upholstered in matching beige leather. A custom wood center console houses a rear-facing television linked to a JVC VHS player, while an overhead wood console houses accessory lighting for the cabin.

Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a digital odometer displaying 41k miles. The seller notes that the power windows in the driver’s door and the tailgate were recently serviced.

The 5.8-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and a mass-airflow sensor. The engine produced 240 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque when new. Work completed in preparation for the sale is said to have included rebuilding the rear brakes. A video of the engine idling is provided above.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is shown in video footage of the underside above, and additional photos depicting the frame, suspension, and bed are presented in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Vermont from April 1994 through it most recent entry in November 2020.

A startup, walk-around, and driving demonstration can be viewed in the videos above, and an additional driving video is linked here.
