This Volkswagen Bus got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1994 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus is a Brazilian-market example that is finished in dark blue over gray and tan patterned cloth and is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a roof rack with a ladder, sliding side windows, a hitch ball, 15″ wheels, and a pioneer stereo. The van is said to have resided in Brazil until it was imported to the US by the seller in October 2021. This Type 2 Bus is offered with import documentation and a clean Florida title.
The bus is said to have been repainted in dark blue and features chrome bumpers, a black grille, dual chrome side mirrors, a roof rack with an integrated ladder, and a trailer hitch with a hitch ball.
Silver 15″ wheels are fitted with 195/65 General tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features patterned gray and beige upholstery joined by a black dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes rubber floor covering, ventilation controls, vent windows, three rows of bench seats, a passenger-assist handle, rear overhead speakers, a Pioneer stereo, and a glove box. The top of the dashboard is cracked.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-km/h speedometer. The digital odometer shows 35k kilometers (~22k miles), approximately 500 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-four is mounted at the rear of the van and has reportedly been refurbished.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
