182-Mile 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

This 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 spent 27 years in the care of its original owner prior to its recent acquisition by the selling dealer, and it has just 182 miles. The car is powered by a 5.7-liter LT5 V8 paired with a ZF six-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in Torch Red over Light Beige leather. Equipment includes the Selective Ride and Handling Package, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, two removable roof panels, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable sport seats, air conditioning, and a Delco Bose Gold Series sound system with a CD player. Work within the last year is said to have included fluids services and replacing the fuel pump and injectors. This C4 Corvette ZR-1 is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, and a clean Florida title.

The C4 ZR-1 was sold between 1990 and 1995, and it featured a wider tail compared to the standard C4 Corvette and introduced a convex rear fascia with squared-off taillights. This example is finished in Torch Red and features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, a removable fiberglass roof panel, fender aero-vents, and power-adjustable and heated side mirrors. The windshield has been replaced, and the removed windshield is included in the sale.

Staggered-width 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires. The ZR-1 was equipped with the three-mode Selective Ride and Handling package, which was designed in consultation with Lotus and featured Bilstein shock absorbers. Braking is handled by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners.

The cabin features two power-adjustable sport bucket seats upholstered in Light Beige leather along with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer, a tire pressure warning system, a Delco Bose Gold Series sound system with CD and cassette players, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer and fuel readout flanked by an analog tachometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 182 miles.

The 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 was designed by GM’s Lotus Group Division and built by Mercury Marine of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Output was rated at 405 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque when new, which is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer reports that fluids services were performed and the fuel pump and injectors were replaced within the last year.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Clay Chevrolet in Newton, Massachusetts, as well as factory equipment and a total vehicle price of $69,653.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
