This 1995 Ford Contour SE was purchased new by the seller in April 1995 and it now shows 7k miles. It is finished in Champagne Clearcoat Metallic over Pumice leather upholstery and is powered by a 2.5-liter Duratec V6 mated to a four-speed automatic transaxle. Features include 15″ cast-aluminum wheels, fog lights, a body-color rear spoiler, a power sunroof, a Ford premium sound system, an AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and traction control. Instrumentation consists of a tachometer with a 6,750-rpm redline accompanied by a 130-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 7k miles. The seller notes that the coolant level light remains illuminated until the engine is warm.
The Duratec 2.5-liter DOHC V6 features four valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 170 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in April 2023.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Monarch Ford of Exeter, California, and lists factory equipment, colors, and a total manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $21,220. Manufacturer’s literature, a Contour-branded black vinyl front-end cover, and a California car cover are included in the sale and can be viewed in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California.
