This 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX is said to have remained with a single family in Ohio since new, and it now shows 5k miles. It is finished in Kalapana Black over gray leather upholstery and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip rear differential, and an all-wheel-drive system. The car is also equipped with 16″ alloy wheels, a glass sunroof, a rear spoiler, cruise control, air conditioning, an Infinity cassette stereo, a JVC CD changer, and power windows and locks. Service since the seller’s acquisition in 2020 included mounting replacement tires and replacing the spark plugs, ignition coils, and air conditioning condenser. This Eclipse GSX is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, an extra set of tires, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Kalapana Black with Logan Silver (X7U) lower-body cladding. Features include a glass sunroof, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, a rear wiper, a rear spoiler, and a dual-exit exhaust. A scratch is noted on the hood, and additional flaws such as paint chips on the front end and a scuff on the right side of the front bumper cover are shown in the photo gallery.
Alloy 16″ wheels were refurbished in November 2022 and wear 215/55 Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires that were mounted in 2022. The car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The seller reports the front brake pads and rotors were replaced under current ownership.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gray leather in addition to a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, an Infinity cassette stereo, a 12-disc JVC CD changer, Eclipse-branded carpeted floor mats, and power windows and locks. The horn bezels were replaced under current ownership, and the air conditioning condenser was replaced in July 2023.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm-redline tachometer, and supplementary gauges for boost pressure, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four features four valves per cylinder as well as dual overhead camshafts. Factory rated output was 210 horsepower and 205 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership is said to have involved flushing the cooling system and replacing the engine air filter, ignition coils, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip rear differential. Corrosion is visible on the underside, additional photos of which can be found in the gallery.
Partial service records are included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature, a front-end cover, a cargo net, two keys, and a set of tires with pre-2000 date codes.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Ohio. A manufacturer’s safety recall related to the lower lateral arm ball joint is noted in a December 2000 update, and a gap in entries is present from December 2000 to July 2020.
