This 1996 Ford F-150 XL is a standard-cab long-bed pickup that is said to have remained with the original owner’s family until November 2022, and it was acquired by the seller on BaT in January 2023. Work since that time consisted of refinishing the bumpers and replacing the windshield, wiper arms and washer nozzles, bed support brackets, and the rear fuel tank along with the fuel pump, filler neck, and cap. The truck is finished in Dark Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic over gray vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 4.9-liter inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes styled 15″ steel wheels, a drop-in bedliner, dual fuel tanks, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio. This F-150 has 45k miles and is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The cab and Styleside long bed are is finished in Dark Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic (JL), and following the seller’s acquisition the rear bumper was straightened, both bumpers were sanded and refinished in Argent, and the windshield, wiper arms, blades, and washer nozzels, mirrors, belt-line moldings, and bed supports were replaced. There is corrosion in the drip channels above the doors, there is bubbling on the left-front lower fender, there are dents on the roof, and there is faded paint on the tailgate.

Styled 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/70 Firestone Destination LE2 tires, and a full-size spare is stored beneath the bed. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes with a rear anti-lock feature.

The bench seat is trimmed in Opal Gray vinyl upholstery and is joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. The truck is equipped with air conditioning and an AM/FM radio, and the seller states that the window crank handles, vent window handles, and inner door handles were replaced following their acquisition. The interior was also cleaned, and missing hardware was replaced. There is a crack on the right side of the dashboard pad.

The steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter inline-six features multi-port electronic fuel injection. Since the seller’s acquisition, the rear fuel tank, fuel pump, sending unit, filler neck, and fuel cap were replaced along with the air filter, and an oil change was performed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York and Florida.
