1997 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado Extended Cab Z71

This 1997 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 is an extended-cab 4×4 example finished in red over gray cloth and powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was acquired by the current owner on BaT in May 2021 and subsequently fitted with replacement tires and a leveling kit. Equipment includes the Z71 Off-Road Package, a receiver hitch, chrome bumpers, cruise control, air conditioning, 16″ alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver seat, and a factory cassette/CD stereo. This Z71 Silverado shows 20k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and a Texas title in the owner’s name.

The truck is finished in Victory Red and equipped with a receiver hitch, a bed mat, chrome bumpers and trim, pop-out rear side windows, side moldings, and Z71 Off Road decals.

Silver-finished 16″ alloy wheels are equipped, and the selling dealer notes that 285/75 BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires and a leveling kit were installed under current ownership. Additional equipment includes independent front suspension and speed-sensitive power steering.

The cab features high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gray cloth. Amenities include cruise control, an AM/FM cassette stereo with a separate in-dash CD player, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, and a center console. The front seats have power adjustments for the driver and lumbar support for both front occupants. The air conditioning system was repaired under current ownership, per the selling dealer.

A four-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 20k miles. The Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in September 2019.

The 5.7-liter Vortec V8 features sequential fuel injection and was factory rated at 255 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a push-button-operated dual-range transfer case.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned mileage inconsistency and lists history in North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, Georgia, and Texas.
