This Chevrolet C/K GMT400 (1988-2002) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1997 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado is finished in two-tone red and white over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 5.7-liter Vortec V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wheels, a drop-in bed liner, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, cruise control, a Delco CD and cassette stereo, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The truck has remained registered in North Carolina and South Carolina from new and was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022. This C1500 Silverado shows 191k miles and is offered at no reserve in North Carolina with a Carfax report and a South Carolina title.
The truck is finished in two-tone red and white, and it is said to have been repainted. Features include chrome bumpers, a drop-in bed liner, and a receiver hitch. The Carfax report shows an entry in February 2004 noting damage to the left-front pillar.
Five-spoke 15″ alloy wheels wear 235/70 Uniroyal Laredo tires, and a full-size spare is mounted under the bed. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
The cabin features a 60/40 split bench seat upholstered in gray cloth that features a fold-up console for a third middle seat. Additional equipment includes cruise control, air conditioning, a Delco CD and cassette stereo, power windows, mirrors, and door locks, and rubber floor mats. The light cover lens is missing from the driver’s side door panel.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and fronts a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer, along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 191k miles.
The 5.7-liter Vortec V8 was rated at 255 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new. The fuel pump is said to have been replaced under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The exhaust system features dual polished slash-cut tips. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery below.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned damage in February 2004 and shows history in North Carolina and South Carolina. There is a gap in history between 2015 and 2021.
