This Chevrolet Suburban (1973-1991) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1997 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 LT 4×4 is finished in two-tone Indigo Blue over Quicksilver Metallic and powered by a Vortec 7.4L V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was originally delivered to Fort Collins, Colorado, through Mills Chevrolet of Moline, Illinois, and it has reportedly remained in the ownership of the Mills family since new. Equipment includes a roof rack, a receiver hitch, later-model 16″ wheels, and chrome bumpers as well as a CD/cassette stereo, power-adjustable front seats, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The seller states that the air conditioning system was charged and the headlights, grille, and lower spoiler were replaced in preparation for the sale along with the valve cover gaskets, pinion shaft, and axle seals. This Suburban K2500 is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, a fitted cover, a set of rubber floor mats, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in two-tone Indigo Blue Metallic over Quicksilver Metallic with black moldings. Equipment includes a roof rack, a receiver hitch, front tow hooks, chrome bumpers, and tinted windows. The Carfax reports indicates “minor damage” to the front was reported in July 2018, and the seller states that the grille, headlights, and lower front spoiler were replaced in preparation for the sale. Later-model 16″ wheels are wrapped in 245/75 Michelin LTX A/T tires. Stopping power is provided by hydroboost-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums.
The eight-passenger cabin features power-adjustable front captain’s chairs and two rows of bench seats upholstered in gray leather. Amenities include cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a CD player, a trailer brake controller, rear climate controls, and power windows and door locks. Wear is visible on the leather seats, and the air conditioning system was recharged in preparation for the sale according to the seller.
The steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 94k miles.
The fuel-injected Vortec 7.4-liter V8 produced 290 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque when new. The valve cover gaskets, pinion shaft, and axle seals were replaced in preparation for the sale according to the seller.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential.
The window sticker indicates initial delivery to Fort Collins, Colorado, through Mills Chevrolet in Illinois, and lists colors, options, and a total vehicle price of $39,854.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned front-end damage in July 2018 along with registration history in Colorado.
