This 1997 Daihatsu Midget II Cargo is a two-seater kei-class truck that was imported from Japan to the US and was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2023. The truck is finished in blue over patterned cloth upholstery and is powered by a 659cc inline-three paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The cabin features split seating for two upholstered in patterned cloth with vinyl sides. Amenities include air conditioning, a Pioneer Carrozzeria CD stereo, and a Midget II-branded rubber cargo area floor cover.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-km/h speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The six-digit odometer shows 158k kilometers (~98k miles).
The 659cc EF-CK inline-three is equipped with two valves per cylinder and is fed via a carburetor. Output was factory rated at 31 horsepower and 37 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is present on underside components, additional photos of which are presented in the gallery.
