This Ford F-Series 1992-1997 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1997 Ford F-250 was registered in California since new and has reportedly remained with the seller’s family since 1998, and it now shows 59k miles. The truck is finished in two-tone silver and red over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 7.5-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 16″ wheels, locking front hubs, a receiver hitch, a camper shell, dual fuel tanks, aftermarket side steps, air conditioning, cruise control, and a cassette stereo. This F-250 is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Light Opal Metallic and Toreador Red Metallic with a silver camper shell. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, a rear sliding window, a receiver hitch, dual fuel tanks, side steps, and a single exhaust outlet. The seller notes that the tailgate has been replaced, and scratches in the paint can be seen in the gallery.
Aluminum 16″ wheels are mounted with Michelin LTX M/S tires that the seller states need replacement, and a full-size spare is stowed in the bed. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and rear-wheel antilock brakes.
The cabin features a split bench seat upholstered in gray cloth along with a gray aftermarket carpeted dash cover. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, a cassette stereo, a trailer brake controller, and floor-mounted shifters for the transfer case and transmission.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a voltmeter, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes that the fuel gauge does not work for the rear fuel tank.
The fuel-injected 7.5-liter V8 was rated at 245 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in February 2022, and the seller reports the coolant overflow tank is broken.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear axle. Corrosion is noted on the underbody components. The seller reports the spare tire carrier is missing.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California. A gap in entries between 2006 and 2021 is noted.
