This Lincoln Mark VIII got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII is an LSC example finished in Ebony over black leather and powered by a 4.6-liter DOHC V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a sunroof, self-leveling air suspension, 16″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and a cassette stereo with a CD changer linked to a JBL sound system. The car was first registered in Pennsylvania and was acquired by the seller in 2013. The seller states the air suspension has been overhauled, and an oil change was completed in April 2022. This Mark VIII is now offered at no reserve with two keys, partial service records, and a clean Illinois title.
The coupe is finished in Ebony (UA) and equipped with a sunroof, HID headlights, power mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The Carfax report shows damage was reported in a November 2017 entry, with no further information provided.
Directional 16″ alloy wheels wear Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. The LSC examples were fitted with firmer springs and larger stabilizer bars than the contemporary Mark VIII, and additional standard equipment includes traction control, an overhauled self-leveling air suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes with an anti-lock system.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, and wood trim adorns the console and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a factory cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted ten-disc CD changer and a JBL sound system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 34k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in a July 2018 entry, though the report notes it may be the result of a clerical error.
The InTech 4.6-liter DOHC V8 features four valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was completed in April 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with an LSC dual exhaust system, and rust is visible on the underbody components.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report in November 2019 and mileage inconsistency in July 2018. History is listed in Pennsylvania and Illinois.
