This 1998 BMW M Roadster is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over gray and black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, polished 17″ Roadstar wheels, heated sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Harman Kardon audio system. The car was first registered in New Jersey and spent time in Florida before it was recently acquired by the seller from the original owner, and it now has 22k miles. Maintenance during current ownership included an overhaul of the air-conditioning system. This M Roadster is now offered with a spare console cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The M Roadster features wider fenders than the contemporary Z3 along with revised bumpers and quad exhaust exits. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (309) and features a power-operated black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, quad exhaust outlets, and a clamshell hood with side vents. Photos of the vehicle with the hardtop removed and of VIN-stamped stickers are provided in the gallery below.

17″ Style 40 Roadstar wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus Evo 2 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The cabin features heated sport seats trimmed in gray and black Nappa leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Noted flaws are shown in the gallery and include wear on the driver’s seat bolster and a crack at the top of the console cover. The air-conditioning system components were replaced in 2021, and a spare console cover is included in the sale. Staining is visible on the door sill trim.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts chrome-ringed instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer indicates under 22k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller. A VDO analog clock and oil temperature gauge are mounted in the center stack.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.

An uninstalled BMW shifter console cover is included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in New Jersey and Florida.
