1998 Daihatsu HiJet Deck Van 5-Speed 4×4

This 1998 Daihatsu HiJet Deck Van 4×4 features a pickup bed with a tailgate as well as a van-style passenger compartment with sliding side doors. The right-hand-drive van was imported from Japan in January 2023 and is finished in white over gray cloth and powered by a 660cc twin-cam inline-three linked to a five-speed manual transmission and push-button four-wheel drive. Equipment includes 12″ alloy wheels, sliding rear doors, air conditioning, and a rear bed with a tailgate. This Hijet Deck Van shows 41k kilometers (~26k miles) and is now offered with a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.

The van is finished in white and features black bumpers and trim. Additional exterior details include rain guards, a sliding rear window, and a protective bar mounted at the bed bulkhead. Close-up photos of a scuff on the front bumper and damage to the tailgate, left-rear door, and both quarter panels are presented in the gallery below.

Gunmetal-finished 12″ Black Racing wheels wear Dunlop Enasave Van 01 tires and a spare wheel is mounted under the bed.

The replacement driver’s seat is trimmed in gray and blue cloth and was installed to accommodate taller drivers. The front passenger seat and rear bench are upholstered in gray cloth and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and vinyl floor. Amenities include air conditioning, a Nardi shift knob, Daihatsu-branded front all-weather floor mats, and a Kenwood stereo linked with Tenvox speakers.

The leather-wrapped Nismo steering wheel frames a 140km/h speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An aftermarket FIZZ electronic tachometer is mounted on top of the steering column. The six-digit odometer shows 41k kilometers (~26k miles), approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The 660cc inline-three sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a push-button all-wheel drive system. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
