This 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning was purchased new by the seller’s father from Ken Grody Ford of Buena Park, California, and now has 28k miles. The truck is #2,826 of 4,000 produced for the model year and is finished in black over Medium Graphite cloth and black leather upholstery. Power is supplied by an SVT-supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes aftermarket 20” wheels, a side-exit dual exhaust system, SVT-tuned suspension, air conditioning, cruise control, and a six-disc CD changer. This SVT Lightning is offered with a window sticker, an SVT certificate of authenticity, SVT memorabilia, the removed factory 18” wheels, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in black and features fog lamps, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, Lighting and SVT badging, aftermarket clear-lens headlights, and a Flareside bed with a bed extender and fiberglass tonneau cover. A paint correction and ceramic coating application was carried out in August 2021, at which time XPEL tint film was applied to the windows. The Carfax report notes that an accident occurred between February 2012 and April 2013, though no further details are provided. A dent is visible in the tailgate, and the seller notes blemishes on the front bumper cover and bed rails.

Aftermarket five-spoke 20” wheels are mounted with 295/40 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. A spare wheel and tire are stored beneath the pickup bed. A set of SVT 18” wheels wearing Goodyear tires are included in the sale. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and the truck is equipped with SVT-tuned shocks and springs as well as front and rear stabilizer bars.

The cabin features a 60/40 split bench seat trimmed in Medium Graphite cloth with black leather inserts and SVT embroidery in the headrests along with a two-tone dashboard and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a fold-down center console with cupholders, and a factory cassette stereo with a six-disc changer mounted behind the passenger seat. A manufacturer’s recall related to the cruise control system was addressed by Sunset Ford of Westminster, California, in 2007.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames white-dial instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, an SVT branded tachometer with a 5,250-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, boost pressure, fuel level, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles.

The SVT-supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter V8 is equipped with a factory side-exit dual exhaust system and was rated at 360 horsepower with 440 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. Corrosion is visible on underside components, and additional underbody photos are viewable in the image gallery below.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Ken Grody Ford of Buena Park, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $30,450. A framed SVT certificate of authenticity indicating a build date of June 30, 1999 is also included in the sale.

SVT memorabilia including a 1:25 scale model, spare parts, and factory service manuals also accompany the truck.
