This Acura Integra Type R got away, but there are more like it here.

This 2000 Acura Integra Type R shows under 65k miles and is a two-owner example finished in Flamenco Black Pearl. The factory 1.8-liter VTEC inline-four is paired to a 5-speed manual, and the car is one of about 1,300 examples produced for the US in 2000. It was acquired by the seller in 2015 from the original owner, who modified it with a CT Engineering intake, Toda 4-2-1 exhaust header, a Mugen twin-loop exhaust, Apexi air/fuel ratio convertor, and Mugen rear strut brace. Records date back to new and document a recent timing belt and water pump change along with new brakes and a valve adjustment. This Integra is sold with the original window sticker, factory books and manuals, Carfax and AutoCheck reports, original parts, and clean California title in the seller’s name.

Intergra Type Rs were available in two colors available for 2000, and slightly less than half were finished in Flamenco Black Pearl. The driver’s side of the car was repainted in 2001 following an accident, though this is not reported on either the Carfax or AutoCheck reports. The car spun in the rain, requiring replacement left rear wheel, control arm, and side mirror. The refinished areas are described as average, with inclusions and swirl marks.

The car was sold new in Seattle and remained with its original owner in Washington state until the seller acquired it and moved it to California. The wheels, wing, roof, nose, and sides are detailed up close in gallery photos. A few dings and scrapes are also present as shown below.

The black interior present nicely in photos, and noted imperfections include a small tear in the headliner and passenger seat fabric, small crack in the gauge cluster plastic, a missing cover on the passenger visor, some delamination to the rear view mirror, and a squeak emitted from the clutch pedal. Modifications to the black interior are limited to some trimming of the rear cargo plastic trim to accommodate the rear strut bar and the installation of a JDM steering wheel, with the original unit included in the sale. All electrics, controls, and instruments remain functional, and 64,800 miles are shown on the odometer.

The stock components are included in the sale along with a JDM exhaust header in place of the standard North American unit. Records date back to new and include a January 2017 service for a new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, spring, cam seals, and accessory belts. A Carfax is included in the sale and verifies the ownership history, though it does not show the 2001 accident. The AutoCheck can be seen in the gallery and notes an accident in 2004, which is believed to be a clerical error. An attempted theft did occur in 2004, which resulted in replacement steering column covers, lock cylinder, and multifunction switch. The original window sticker is included along with spare keys.
