The cabin is upholstered in tan leather and features matching door inserts, center console, and dashboard. Interior amenities include 10-way power-adjustable front seats, a sunroof, power windows and locks, air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory CD player. SVT-specific white-faced instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit odometer shows less than 37k miles.
The SVT-tuned 24-valve 2.5-liter Duratec V6 was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Factory upgrades to the SVT engine include a forged-steel crankshaft, a larger throttle body, and performance camshafts. The seller reports that the fuel pump was replaced in June 2016, and the oil was changed last year.
The Ford SVT certificate of authenticity indicates that this example is #159 of 2,150 built for the 2000 model year and that it was constructed at the Kansas City Assembly Plant on September 30, 1999. The owner’s manual, factory literature, window sticker, and two sets of keys accompany the car.
