One-Owner 24k-Mile 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata

This 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata was purchased new by the seller at Holtz House of Vehicles in Rochester, New York, and has been registered in New York since new. The car is finished in black over tan leather and is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a tan soft top, 15″ wheels, aerodynamic side skirts, a Bose stereo system, air conditioning, and cruise control. This NB Miata has 24k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a factory brochure, a window sticker, partial service records, a fitted car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Black and is equipped with fog lamps, a front spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts, rear mud guards, and a tan soft top with a matching vinyl boot. A protective grille has been added to the opening in the front bumper, and the rear bumper cover was repainted after a June 2006 accident that is listed in the Carfax report. Rock chips on the front bumper cover and a blemish on the passenger-side rear quarter panel are shown up close in the photo gallery below, which also contains images of body-panel VIN stickers.

Factory 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 195/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires.

The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather with matching carpets, Miata-branded floor mats, and a black upper dashboard. Equipment includes power accessories, air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory Bose CD stereo. The seller states the horn was replaced with a Nautilus Compact unit, and the factory horn is included in the sale.

A leather-wrapped Nardi steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 24k miles.

The 1.8-liter inline-four produced 140 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque when new. Servicing in October 2020 consisted of changing the oil and coolant.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Roger Burdick Mazda of North Syracuse, New York, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total vehicle price of $24,145. Manufacturer’s literature, a factory brochure, and partial service records are also included in the sale along with two keys and a fitted car cover.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned accident and shows registration and service history in New York.
