This 2001 Acura CL Type-S has been registered in California and Arizona since new and now has 58k miles. It is finished in black over black leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed sequential SportShift transaxle. Equipment includes 17″ alloy wheels, xenon headlights, a Bose CD stereo, a glass sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the current owner in 2023, this CL is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the name of the seller’s spouse.

Machine-finished 17″ alloy wheels wear 215/50 Michelin Premier A/S tires. The car is equipped with double-wishbone suspension at all four corners, and the Type-S features larger rear anti-roll bars and firmer springs when compared to the standard CL. Stopping power is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with silver-finished calipers at each corner.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats and rear bench seat are upholstered in Ebony leather. Dark wood trim accents the center console and door panels, and additional equipment includes a Bose stereo with a six-disc in-dash CD changer and cassette player, automatic climate control, cruise control, Acura-branded floor mats, and driver’s seat position memory. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat outer side bolster, and the seller notes that the rearview mirror dimming feature is nonfunctional.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames white-dial instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,900-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter SOHC VTEC V6 features four valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque and features a two-stage intake plenum to broaden the torque curve along with a low-restriction exhaust system. An oil change was performed in April 2023.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed sequential SportShift transaxle. The Carfax report indicates a transmission service and fluid flush was performed in 2015. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Acura of Sunnyvale, California, as well as factory colors, options, and a total vehicle price of $30,810.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Arizona.
