Laguna Seca Blue 2001 BMW M3 6-Speed

This 2001 BMW M3 is finished in Laguna Seca Blue over gray leather and shows 49k miles from a life of Southern California ownership. Power is sent from a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox and variable locking differential. The car was optioned new with the Cold Weather and Luxury packages, xenon headlights, Harman Kardon sound, and lumbar adjustment. Modifications include a Dinan exhaust system, Competition Package brakes and 19″ wheels, and TC Kline double-adjustable coilovers. This E46 is offered with a window sticker, service records, owner’s manuals, a clean AutoCheck, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Laguna Seca Blue (448) was available on the E46 M3 from 2000 through 2004. Cross-drilled Competition Package brakes have also been fitted. Coilovers from TC Kline were installed in 2012 and are adjustable for rebound and compression.

Factory 19″ BMW Competition Package wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sports measuring 235/40 up front and 255/35 out back.

The interior was optioned in gray leather with the Cold Weather and Luxury packages, offering a power moonroof, powered and heated seats, and a ski bag. The seller notes slight bolster wear on drivers seat, and additional interior images are provided in the gallery.

A Harman Kardon sound system was optioned from the factory. Just over 49k miles are shown on the odometer, with 1,300 added over the past four years.

The 3.2-liter S54B32 inline-six produced 333 horsepower at 7,900 rpm in stock form, and this example is equipped with a Dinan exhaust system. An oil change at 48k miles included a new drain plug, while a Level II service was conducted at 36k miles as documented in provided invoices. An aftermarket strut tower brace can be seen above. Annual oil changes by the seller are reported, with the most recent being in June 2018 during a brake fluid flush. A factory rod bearing recall was conducted in 2004 as shown in the gallery, and the seller claims service records from all the previous owners.
