2001 Ford Mustang GT Roush Stage 3 Coupe 5-Speed

This 2001 Ford Mustang GT coupe was modified by Roush Performance of Livonia, Michigan, with the Stage 3 package, which included fitting the 4.6-liter SOHC V8 with a supercharger and revised fuel system components as well as installing revised bodywork, a fixed roll bar, side-exit exhaust outlets, staggered-width 18″ wheels, subframe connectors, Roush springs and dampers, and four-piston front brake calipers. Finished in Laser Tint Red Clearcoat over black and red leather, the car is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, fog lights, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, an SVO tachometer, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Mach 460 stereo system with an in-dash CD changer. The car has been registered in Colorado from new through the seller’s November 2023 acquisition, and it now indicates 20k miles. This New Edge Mustang is now offered with a window sticker, a Roush window sticker addendum, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Laser Tint Red Clearcoat (E9), and it features fog lights as well as a rear bumper cover with debossed Mustang script. Roush Stage 3 modifications include a Cobra-style hood as well as a revised front fascia, badging, rear wing, and aerodynamic side and rear skirts.

Staggered-diameter 18″ Roush wheels are wrapped in 265/35 front and 295/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car is equipped with traction control, anti-lock brakes with Roush-Alcon four-piston calipers, and a Roush-tuned Stage 3 suspension including revised springs, dampers, sway bars, and lower control arms.

A plaque mounted ahead of the shifter denotes this car as #17 modified with the Roush Stage 3 package for the 2001 model year.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges, all of which were fitted with silver dials by Roush. A Ford SVO-branded tachometer is affixed atop the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 60 of which were added by the seller.

The 4.6-liter SOHC V8 was modified by Roush with an aluminum flywheel, a Stage 3 supercharger and fuel system, and revised engine management calibration as well as a secondary sheave front engine accessory drive (F.E.A.D). Claimed output was 360 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. The car features a Roush exhaust system with polished tips.

The window sticker denotes “High Altitude Principal Use” under the Optional Equipment heading, and it displays factory colors and equipment along with a total MSRP of $23,780. An owner’s manual, Roush literature, and a Roush addendum outlining equipment included with the Stage 3 package will also accompany the car.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Colorado.
