This Land Rover Discovery got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2001 Land Rover Discovery II SE7 is finished in White Gold over Bahama Beige leather and features three-row seating, dual sunroofs, and Active Cornering Enhancement hydraulic suspension. Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck was acquired by the seller in 2018 after being parked with a no-start condition by its previous owners, and was subsequently returned to running condition with a new fuel pump, a brake service, and fluid replacements. Approximately 5k of its 100k indicated miles have been added since. This Disco II is offered in Connecticut with a clean Carfax report and transferable Vermont registration in the seller’s name.
The White Gold paintwork is shown up close in the gallery below, as are the dual power-operated sunroofs, alpine windows, lighting, and other trim. Additional equipment includes running boards, roof rails, a receiver hitch, a rear step, and headlight washers. Damage to the right front and center pillars was sustained in 2003 according to the Carfax report.
Factory 18″ ProLine wheels wear Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires that show 2010 and 2011 date codes. The Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) hydraulic suspension uses accelerometers to detect body lean and a hydraulic pump to adjust the sway bars to keep the vehicle upright. The seller replaced the load-leveling rear suspension’s air compressor in preparation for the sale because it was noted to be noisier than normal.
The interior is upholstered in Bahama Beige perforated leather with contrast stitching and burl wood trim. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats with armrests, and a stock cassette stereo. The digital odometer shows approximately 100k miles, with 5k added under current ownership. The seller notes that the right front door lock can be slow to operate.
Third-row jump seats fold out from the cargo area, while their headrests fold down from the ceiling along with a screen between the second and third rows. Individual audio controls are also provided for the rear seat passengers.
The 4.0-liter V8 drives all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The seller acquired the truck in non-running condition and subsequently replaced its fuel pump, serviced its brakes, and performed fluid changes before driving it to Florida and back to Connecticut.
The 2019 Carfax report shows Connecticut ownership from 2001 to 2010 as well as listing the 2003 image incident. Factory literature and tools are included in the sale. The truck comes with transferable Vermont registration in the seller’s name, as the state does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. The previous Connecticut title is included with the sale.
