This Chevrolet Avalanche got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 spent time in Florida before it was acquired and relocated to Michigan by the seller in November 2023, and it now has 27k miles. The truck is finished in Summit White over tan cloth upholstery, and power comes from a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear differential. Equipment includes the Z66 Premium On-Road Suspension package, as well as 17″ alloy wheels, side steps, a three-piece cargo cover, a receiver hitch, a bed-extending Midgate panel, roof rails with cross bars, power-adjustable front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. This Avalanche is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, two keys and remotes, uninstalled trailer wiring, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Summit White with gray pinstriping, “Z66” quarter panel decals, and lower-body cladding. Other exterior details include roof rails with cross bars, front tow hooks, driving lights, side steps, a rear step bumper, and a receiver hitch. The bed incorporates a folding Midgate, lockable top-box storage compartments, and a three-piece cargo cover.
Five-spoke 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with 265/70 Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT tires that have 2016 date codes. Traction control, specially-tuned springs, and load-leveling shocks were optioned as part of the Z66 package. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The power-adjustable front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in tan cloth upholstery with patterned gray inserts and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Chevrolet-branded rubber floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a lockable center console, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The air conditioning system was recharged in July 2022.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 27k miles, less than 100 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was factory rated at 285 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. An exhaust leak was repaired in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear axle with 3.73:1 gears. Additional photos of the underbody are provided in the gallery.v
The window sticker details initial delivery to Crest Chevrolet of Jacksonville, Florida, along with colors, equipment, and a total vehicle price of $33,658. Manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, two keys and remotes, and uninstalled trailer wiring are also included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida and Michigan.
