44k-Mile 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS Convertible

This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS convertible has spent its life in California and Arizona, and it was acquired by the seller on BaT in March 2021. The car is finished in Navy Blue Metallic over Medium Gray cloth and is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include bright 17″ wheels, air conditioning, a Monsoon audio system, a Pioneer infotainment screen, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an SLP Performance front grille and exhaust system. This Camaro SS has 44k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, the removed head unit, a Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Navy Blue Metallic (28U) is equipped with a black convertible top. Additional features include a ram-air hood scoop, a raised decklid spoiler, an SLP exhaust system, an SLP front grille, and SS badging. The Carfax report shows a sideswipe collision with a parked vehicle in December 2013. Scratches and a ding are noted by the seller, and imperfections are shown up close in the gallery below.

Bright 17″ alloy wheels feature SS center caps and are mounted with 275/40 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The seats are trimmed in Medium Gray cloth, and the cabin features matching carpets and door panel inserts. Equipment includes cruise control, power windows and locks, a 500-watt Monsoon audio system, air conditioning, and a power-adjustable driver seat that reclines manually. A Pioneer infotainment system has been installed, and the removed head unit is included in the sale. A commemorative “35th Anniversary” plaque is affixed to the center stack.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 155-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer has 44k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 produced 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
