This 2002 Ford Excursion Limited is powered by a 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It is finished in Mineral Gray Metallic over Medium Parchment leather and is equipped with rear parking sensors, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, Warn manually-locking front hubs, KYB shocks, heated power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, rear-seat entertainment, third-row seating, a Cobra CB radio, and a Prodigy trailer brake controller. The truck has been registered in New Jersey since new and was acquired by the seller in August 2022. Subsequent work performed in preparation for the sale included fluid changes, resealing of the front axles, and replacement of the body mounts, crankcase vent valve seals, batteries, and alternator along with steering and suspension components. This Excursion has 181k miles and is now offered at no reserve with the removed stock wheel hubs and bearings, a Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Mineral Gray Metallic and features rear parking sensors, fog lights, running boards, roof rails, a receiver hitch, a rear window wiper, and a tri-panel rear door with an upper lift-gate and lower swing-out cargo doors. Damage to the front of the truck following an accident with another vehicle is noted on the Carfax report in 2005, as a result of which the front bumper cover is said to have been replaced. An accident is reported in October 2013, and “minor” accident damage to the left-front and right-front of the truck is noted in August 2019. Flaws include paint chips on the hood and left-rear door, faded paint beneath the rear window, a dent on the rear bumper cover, and rust on the roof rails and on the body beneath the driver’s doorsill.

The brake pads, rotors, and calipers were reportedly replaced in 2021. Work under current ownership included the installation of KYB shocks, Moog stabilizer bushings, a Monroe steering stabilizer, an AC Delco universal joint, and Dorman brake dust shields as well as a Mevotech steering center link, hub assemblies, tie rods, and upper and lower ball joints. The removed stock automatically-locking front hubs and wheel bearings are included in the sale.

The interior features three rows of seating trimmed in Medium Parchment leather with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 was factory rated at 235 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The crankcase vent valve seals, batteries, fluids, alternator, and alternator belt were reportedly replaced under current ownership. The seller states that the turbocharger was rebuilt in 2020 and the valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2021. An exhaust gas temperature sensor was installed under prior ownership but is said to have been disconnected.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission fluid is said to have been changed in 2021 and the front axle U-joints and seals were replaced in 2022 in addition to the installation of polyurethane body mounts.
