This 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet is finished in Rainforest Green Metallic over Savannah Beige supple leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, 17″ ten-spoke wheels, a deployable rear spoiler, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, power-adjustable front seats with power lumbar support, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The car spent time in New Jersey, California, and Arizona with two registered owners prior to its recent acquisition by the selling dealer, and the IMS bearing, rear main seal, air oil separator, and cam chain tensioner were replaced in August 2021. This 996.2 cabriolet has 36k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with recent service records, literature, two keys, and a clean Arizona title.
The car was finished from the factory in Rainforest Green Metallic (L2A1) and was repainted under prior ownership. Additional features include a black convertible soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The Carfax report lists an accident involving a parked vehicle in June 2002, with damage resulting to the right side.
The 17″ ten-spoke wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires that were reportedly installed in July 2021. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM).
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Savannah Beige supple leather, and matching leather extends to the dashboard and door panels. Features include driver-seat memory settings, front-seat power lumbar support, automatic climate control, a Becker Porsche CDR-220 stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. An LN Engineering IMS-bearing retrofit was performed in August 2021 by Stuttgart Southwest in Tempe, Arizona, and other work at that time included replacing the rear main seal, air oil separator, and cam chain tensioner.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
