This BMW E39 M5 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2003 BMW M5 has 91k miles and is powered by a 4.9-liter S62 V8 paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The car was acquired by the selling dealer two years ago and has since been driven approximately 2k miles. Modifications include a Supersprint exhaust system, and a service three months ago included installing a new clutch. This car comes from final year of E39 M5 production and is now being offered with a clean Carfax report, as well as a clean Missouri title.
No accidents are reported on the included Carfax, though the seller notes some paint and body work have been performed in the past. The factory 18″ Style 65 wheels wear Hankook Ventus V12 tires, and 4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS and Dynamic Stability Control were standard equipment.
The Black Nappa leather interior features power front seats with memory and lumbar adjustment, brushed aluminum trim, a multifunction sport steering wheel, and an Alcantara headliner in anthracite.
The factory navigation unit remains in place, and gray instrumentation is specific to the E39 M5. The digital odometer shows just under 91k miles, about 2,000 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 4.9-liter 32-valve V8 was rated at 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox and 3.15:1 limited-slip differential. Modifications include a Supersprint exhaust system, and a new clutch was installed three months ago.
