This 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE is an extended-cab short-bed pickup that was initially delivered to Nelson Pontiac GMC of Martinsville, Virginia, and is said to have remained with the first owner’s family until the seller’s acquisition in March 2022. The truck is powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 mated to an Allison five-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear differential, and it is finished in Dark Toreador Red Metallic over gray cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ chrome wheels, power-adjustable mirrors, a drop-in bedliner, a receiver hitch, step bars, four-wheel antilock disc brakes, dual-zone climate control, and a factory CD/cassette stereo. This Sierra 2500 has 49k miles and is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The extended-cab body is finished in Dark Toreador Red Metallic and features a bright grille surround and bumpers as well as black step bars, power-adjustable mirrors, tinted rear windows, front tow hooks, cab marker lights, fog lights, a Leonard drop-in bedliner, and a receiver hitch. The roof was repainted in October 2022, and imperfections are present on the front bumper cover, the lower left part of the bed, and on the hood. The Carfax report lists a damage report in August 2003 and notes damage to the rear and front of the vehicle.

Chrome-finished 16″ wheels are mounted with white-letter Michelin tires up front and Goodyear Wranglers in the rear, and a spare is located under the bed. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with ABS.

The cab houses a 40/20/40-split front bench and a folding rear bench upholstered in Dark Pewter cloth. Equipment includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control, power windows and door locks, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a fold-down armrest, and a factory CD/cassette stereo.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 49k miles, approximately 3k of which were added during current ownership.

The 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 was factory rated at 310 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. The truck is equipped with an engine block heater, and an oil change was completed and the drain plug was replaced in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via an Allison five-speed automatic transmission, an electronic-shift dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential with a 3.73:1 gear. Corrosion is visible on the underside components, and additional photos are available in the gallery below.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Nelson Pontiac GMC of Martinsville, Virginia, along with factory colors, options, features, and a total vehicle price of $41,035. Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and two keys are also included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entry in August 2003 and lists history in Virginia.
