This 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata was recently acquired from its original owner by the selling dealer in California and shows 53k miles. Power is from a turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in Titanium Grey Metallic over a red and black cloth interior, and additional Mazdaspeed equipment includes 17” wheels, Bilstein dampers, and special bodywork. New Michelin tires were installed in 2017, while the driveline fluids were changed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale. This NB Miata is offered with a clean Carfax report, owner’s books, service records, and a clean California title.

The body is finished in Titanium Grey Metallic with Mazdaspeed additions including deeper front and rear valances, smoked lenses, and a deck lid spoiler. The seller notes a ding over the right front wheel arch as well as scratches and chips on the front bumper cover. Close-up pictures of the body are included in the gallery below.

Five-spoke 17” wheels were equipped on Mazdaspeed models, here mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires installed in 2017 and wearing mixed date codes. The black convertible roof features a heated glass backlight, and can be seen unfolded and stowed in gallery photos.

The cockpit features manually-adjusted seats trimmed in black cloth with red inserts. Factory mats line the floors, and a mesh wind deflector with integrated speakers is situated behind the seats.

Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, white gauge faces, Bose audio, and power locks and mirrors. The digital odometer shows just under 53k miles, a handful of which have been driven by the selling dealer.

The Mazdaspeed package added a single IHI turbocharger to the standard 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four, increasing output to 178 horsepower with 166 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller states that maintenance was performed personally by the original owner, though a 20k-mile service was carried out by Mazda and a new slave cylinder and clutch hydraulic fluid were installed at 30k miles.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The driveline fluids were replaced in preparation for the sale. The selling dealer has provided a collection of additional underbody images in the gallery below.

The recent Carfax report indicates an accident-free history with one California owner prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition. Factory literature and several receipts can be seen in the gallery below.
