This Ford Thunderbird (2002-2005) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2005 Ford Thunderbird is #475 of 1,500 50th Anniversary models produced, all of which were finished in Cashmere Tri-Coat Metallic paint with cashmere-color leather and interior accents. The car remained registered in Florida before the selling dealer’s recent purchase and relocation to Pennsylvania, and it now has 36k miles. The car is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a power-operated soft top, 17″ 16-spoke wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and power-adjustable and heated seats with 50th Anniversary embroidery. This special-edition Thunderbird is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a hardtop stand, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car is finished in Cashmere Tri-Coat Metallic and features a matching removable hardtop with porthole windows as well as a power-operated soft top. Additional equipment includes an egg-crate grille, integrated fog lights, a hood scoop, a polished windshield surround, Thunderbird-script badges, and a dual-outlet exhaust system.
The 17″ 16-spoke micro-machined wheels have corroded finish and wear Thunderbird-branded center caps with cashmere-color accent rings and Uniroyal TigerPaw GTZ All-Season 2 tires. The car is equipped with traction control, four-wheel independent suspension, and ventilated disc brakes.
The interior features heated and power-adjustable seats trimmed in Cashmere leather with 50th-anniversary embroidery on the seatbacks. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a high-gloss shift knob, and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash CD changer.
A plaque in the glove box identifies the car as #475 of 1,500 “50th Anniversary” models produced.
The multi-function steering wheel features a body-color upper accent and leather trim and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 36k miles.
The 3.9-liter V8 features dual overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and variable valve timing. Output was rated at 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift manual shifting mode.
Manufacturer’s literature, a hardtop stand, and partial service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Florida and Pennsylvania.
