22k-Mile 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante

This 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante has spent time in California and Washington through the current owner’s acquisition in 2012 and now has 22k miles. It is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 paired with a six-speed automatic transaxle and is finished in Jet Black over Obsidian Black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, a black soft top, xenon headlights with washers, rear parking sensors, heated power-adjustable seats, a navigation system, a Linn sound system, cruise control, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, flushing the brake fluid, and replacing the tires and hood struts. This DB9 Volante is now offered on dealer consignment with service records, a battery tender, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

The DB9 featured a mix of aluminum and composite body panels installed over an extruded aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Jet Black with a black soft top and features xenon headlights with washers, a Tungsten grille, hood vents, fender vents with integrated side markers, rear parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips, dents, scratches, and various imperfections are shown up close in the gallery below. Replacement hood struts were recently fitted.

The 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels wear staggered-width Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires that were mounted in July 2023. Braking is handled by black-finished Aston Martin-branded calipers over four-wheel slotted and ventilated rotors. A brake fluid flush was performed in preparation for the sale.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Obsidian Black leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a navigation system, a retractable infotainment screen, a CD stereo, a SiriusXM module, cruise control, a Linn sound system, and automatic climate control. The leather covering the upper dashboard has deformed.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel features paddle shifters and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, approximately 9k miles of which were added during current ownership.

The 5.9-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 450 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF 6HP automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Washington.
