This Honda Element got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2008 Honda Element SC is finished in metallic gray over black cloth and is powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 18″ alloy wheels, body-color lower exterior trim, air conditioning, and a CD stereo. The car was first registered in California and relocated in 2016 to Texas, where it was acquired by the seller in 2018. Subsequent service included replacement of the air-conditioning compressor, alternator, battery, brake pads, fluids, spark plugs, suspension components, and the front and rear engine mounts. This Element now has 86k miles and is offered at no reserve with owner’s manuals, service records, rubber floor mats, three keys, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the name of the seller’s wife.
The body is finished in Galaxy Gray Metallic (GY) with matching lower trim and bumper covers. Additional equipment includes a rear window defroster, a split tailgate, and tinted windows. The black front grille and mirror caps were repainted and the windshield was replaced during current ownership. Touched up scratches and scuffs can be seen in the gallery below.
Gray-finished 18″ alloy wheels with machined accents are wrapped in 225/55 Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires up front and GT Radial Touring VP tires out back. The car is equipped with Vehicle Stability Assist and four-wheel independent suspension, and the SC trim level added larger sway bars, stiffer springs and dampers, and a lower ride height. Service under current ownership has included replacement of the wheel locks, all four dampers, front tie rods, rear upper adjustable control arms, and the front and rear bushings and links, along with a brake fluid flush and replacement of the rear brake rotors and the front and rear brake pads.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black cloth with patterned accents, piano black trim, and black carpeting protected by branded black rubber floor mats. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, side cargo doors, fold-flat front and rear seats, and a seven-speaker CD stereo with a subwoofer, satellite radio connectivity, and an auxiliary input jack. The carpets were replaced following the seller’s acquisition, and the air-conditioning compressor was replaced in 2021.
The multifunction steering wheel with an aftermarket wrap frames copper-backlit instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates under 86k miles, approximately 15k of which were added by the seller.
The 2.4-liter inline-four is equipped with i-VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 166 horsepower and 161 lb-ft of torque. Maintenance during current ownership included replacement of the serpentine belt, water pump, solenoid spool valve, belt tensioner, alternator, battery, spark plugs, and front and rear engine mounts. An oil change was performed in 2021.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Texas, and Florida. An open recall associated with the trailer hitch harness is listed in 2012, and the listed lien has been released.
