5,500-Mile 2008 Honda S2000 CR

This 2008 Honda S2000 is one of approximately 700 Club Racer models produced for the US market and has 5,500 miles. The car is finished in Rio Yellow Pearl over yellow and black Alcantara and cloth and is powered by a 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, xenon headlights, air conditioning, and cruise control as well as CR-specific features including a removable hardtop, aerodynamic aids, a rear chassis brace, quicker steering, and stiffer springs and anti-roll bars. The car spent time in Florida, Ohio, and New York before the seller’s December 2021 purchase. This S2000 CR is now offered in Colorado with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, three keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

Of the 700 S2000 Club Racers produced for the US market, just 140 were finished in Rio Yellow Pearl (Y-65P). CR-specific bodywork includes a revised front spoiler, a rear wing, additional chassis bracing, and a removable black hardtop that can be seen installed in the gallery. Additional equipment includes a black tonneau cover, xenon headlights, a black windshield surround, roll hoops, and oval-tipped exhaust outlets. Factory 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE71R tires. The CR model also features higher-rate springs, stiffer anti-roll bars, and a quicker steering ratio compared to the standard AP2 S2000.

The cabin features CR seats upholstered in black Alcantara with yellow inserts and stitching, the latter of which is also found on the steering wheel, shift boot, and door panels. Amenities include push-button ignition, air conditioning, cruise control, a CD stereo, and an aluminum shift knob.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a digital speedometer, a bar-style tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 5,500 miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four is equipped with VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque when new. Service completed under the seller’s ownership is said to include a coolant flush and oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The fluids for the transmission and differential were reportedly replaced since December 2021.

The window sticker lists factory equipment, colors, and a total vehicle price of $37,935. Spare and removed parts are also included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Florida, Ohio, New York, and Montana.
