2008 Porsche Cayman 5-Speed

This 2008 Porsche Cayman was purchased by the current owner in 2020 as a retirement gift for their spouse. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Sand Beige leather, it is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes black-finished 19″ Vertini wheels, cross-drilled disc brakes, a deployable rear spoiler, fog lights, and a Borla exhaust system as well as heated and power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system. This 987.1 Cayman has 59k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.

The car is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and features fog lights, quarter-panel intakes, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and window tint film. The underside of the front bumper cover is scraped and paint chips are visible on the front end.

Black-finished 19″ Vertini wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 295/30 out back. The tires were mounted and the pressure sensors were replaced in 2022. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 11.7″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively.

The heated and power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Sand Beige leather. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and an AM/FM stereo with a remote six-disc CD changer. The trim on the right side of the dash is misaligned.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer flanked by a 175-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.7L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory-rated at 245 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in 2021 and the battery was replaced in 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped with a Borla exhaust system.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Tennessee, Arkansas, Oregon, Washington, and California. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in September 2023.

There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
