2009 Pontiac G8 GXP 6-Speed

This 2009 Pontiac G8 is one of approximately 1,830 examples produced and is finished in Panther Black Metallic over black leather. Power is provided by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was delivered new to Brian Harris Mazda Pontiac Buick of Slidell, Louisiana, and was acquired by the seller in 2013. Subsequent modifications involved installing a CAI intake, a COMP Cams camshaft and valve train components, an aftermarket exhaust system, a Centerforce dual-friction clutch, and a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system. Factory equipment includes 19″ wheels, the FE3 suspension package, Brembo front brake calipers, LED headlights, and heated front seats. This G8 GXP has 59k miles and is offered with partial service records, a dyno sheet, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Panther Black Metallic and equipped with a GXP-specific front fascia, hood scoops, fog lights, a glass sunroof, tinted windows, a rear spoiler and diffuser, and quad-tipped exhaust outlets. A number of paint chips are visible on the hood and front fascia, and the seller notes scratches on the driver-side rear door and rear bumper.

Polished 19” wheels wear 245/40 front and 285/35 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Comp 2 tires. G8 GXP models came factory equipped with Brembo front brake calipers and the FE3 suspension package, which included stiffer springs, re-valved dampers, and a thicker rear sway bar.

The cabin features Onyx leather seat upholstery with matching carpets and silver trim. Amenities include heated front seats with GXP embroidery, an aftermarket shift knob and lever, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, and a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system. The factory Blaupunkt head unit is included in the sale.

A flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel fronts G8 and GXP-branded instrumentation that includes a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 35k of which have been added by the seller.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was fitted with an aftermarket COMP Cams camshaft and valve train components, a CAI intake, Kooks headers, and an aftermarket exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters in 2014.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A Centerforce dual-friction clutch and flywheel were also installed under current ownership.

A dyno sheet from Xtreme Motorsports in Tempe, Arizona, shows maximum output after the aforementioned modifications were installed in 2014.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists ownership history in California and Arizona until the most recent entry in 2019. An open recall is noted from 2014 involving the ignition system and unintended key rotation.
